Cooper founded the Black Patch Distilling Co. in honor of his son's military service. His son was severely injured while conducting a night raid in 2008 and his unit wore sterile uniforms and a single black patch. The black patch defines us. It is not sexy or overly-dramatic just pure, simple and hard-working.
