OUR MISSION: The Black Women Breast Cancer Survivor Project is a community-based project that conducts Afrocentric evidence-based programming and Afrocentric research guided by black women breast cancer survivors. Our message is simple - "being diagnosed with breast cancer does not mean that a Black woman has to die from the disease". We do this by enhancing Black women's knowledge about the disease and treatment of breast cancer, and breast cancer with the outcome of improving health care to culturally diverse patient.
