Recent clients include Thinkwell Group, Production Glue, Rocky Broadway, If/Then Musical, Holland America Lines, and Grand Rapids Ballet.About:Lily Twining, founder and owner of Blackbird Production Services, Ltd. has worked in many different areas of the entertainment field. Lily received her Bachelors Degree from Towson University and her MFA from the Yale School of Drama. Since then she has served as Technical Director at the Goodspeed Opera House, Asst. Scenic Designer for Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, and Project Manager for Hudson Scenic Studio. Her freelance work has taken her to PRG Scenic Technologies, Proof Productions, Showman Fabricators, and as an adjunct faculty member for New York City College of Technology.Since starting Blackbird, Lily has served as Technical Supervisor for Rocky Broadway, If/Then Musical, Empire, Grand Rapid Ballet's new production of The Nutcracker, shows aboard Holland America Line's ms Eurodam, ms Nieuw Amsterdam and ms Koningsdam and as Technical Director for Production Glue & Nike's Zoom City Arena and Vornado's Plaza 33. Lily has also served as the interim Technical Director at the Yale Repertory Theatre / Yale School of Drama.Mission:Blackbird Production Services, Ltd provides full service technical supervision to the artistic and creative teams, management staff, and technicians involved in bringing projects to fruition. The goal on any project is helping to bring a creative vision to life, while making sure any financial and/or technical limitations do not hinder the end product. Every show has limitations put upon it, but with Blackbird, creative problem solving, and a collaborative work environment, these limitations do not have to negatively impact the final performance.
