The BlackBox organisation has been focussed on the medical software sector for over 15 years with a team of software and business efficiency people who fully understand the needs and pressure facing GP practices.Historically we were the team who designed and developed the complete range of iQ Medical products which are currently in daily use by over 3,500 GP practices. This knowledge and skill has now been deployed to produce the first product in a range of tools which will address the issue of clinical data quality and validation.The BlackBox Clinical Data Validation software is a unique solution to the issue of patient safety created by errors in secondary care discharge information. It has never been possible to automatically cross reference this with information held in primary care clinical systems until now. The importance of this toolkit has been recognised by the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN who regard patient safety as a priority in the NHS.
