Established in 1913, Blackmoor is a stunning heathland Par 69 course in Hampshire, designed by the great Harry Colt. The course consists of two loops of nine holes with fairways surrounded by heather, pine, birch and oak trees. Noted for the quality of its greens throughout the year, the course features many subtle dog-legs while the par 3's all have the stamp of Harry Colt - namely, elevated greens well-guarded by bunkers. From 1998 until 2003, Blackmoor was a regional qualifying course for the Open Championship where golfers from the UK, Europe, America and Africa began their quest for 'The Claret Jug'.
