BlackWater Art Society A group for up and coming artists in Central Virginia, Currently non-established and seeking to push the boundaries of their skills and get exposure for their work. Group Focus: Drawing, chalk, pencil, pen, pastels, painting, acrylics, water color, oils , digital design, digital photographery Goals: To meet monthly to gain perspective on current work. To network with other up and coming artists. To problem solve and explore different mediums in the field of drawing, painting, and digital media. To have (2) annual field trips exploring local art displays. To produce (1) annual "end-of-the-year" art exhibit, showcasing members current work. To assist members in establishing themselves in the community as artists. To have fun and grown and explore seeing the world through art. Motto: Up and coming artists of Central Virginia banning together pushing the boundaries of their skills, exploring the world through shades of color...
