His vision was to build a company that delivered individualized engineering services with special attention to corporate integrity and care for each client — and that's still our corporate culture today.Mr. Blackwell's eldest sons, Rick Blackwell and Ed Blackwell, both professional engineers, joined the company as principals in 1993. His youngest son, Nathan Blackwell, also a professional engineer, became a principal in 2009. The staff of Blackwell Engineering includes a total of five registered professional engineers.Blackwell Engineering is located in the historic district of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and serves clients throughout the Shenandoah Valley region, across the Commonwealth of Virginia, and in West Virginia.
