Magazine is composed of a dynasty of young women of color catered to providing a safe space to empower and be empowered through creativity, education and connection.Blck G.E.M.S. stands for Black Girl Empowerment for Mutual Success. The women who contribute to this magazine and organization aim to empower and educate women of color, especially those on college or high school campuses, across the country. Oftentimes, specifically black women, may not have a safe space to share or reflect on pieces or artwork that represent their culture or struggle.The young women behind this organization realize that black women cannot find specific websites or sources catered to them. We dedicate to become one powerful source that educates and serves all women of color, especially black women.
