Blessed Children (https://www.facebook.com/blessedchildrenministries/) is a nonprofit organization that aims to equip, nurture, and empower orphaned children of Haiti, in Christ, in order that they may find and achieve their inner visions and reach their full potential. We aim to do this by designing and implementing a school, an orphanage and a church utilizing used shipping containers that are designed to be eco-friendly and self-sustaining. We plan to utilize solar panels, waterless toilets, a water harvesting system with a fiberglass water tank, green roofs, compost and a water purification system.
