Welcome to our page! I am Tricia Waechter, the founder of BLIND GIRL DESIGNS :-) I have retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic eye disease.I have central vision remaining so that means I can see in front of me.That means tennis and baseball are definitely out.I use a blind cane now, and each year it gets longer, as I need a longer cane the more peripheral vision I lose. On January 1, 2021, I woke up and said "screw it, I am not giving into this disease." BLIND GIRL DESIGNS was born.Please follow our journey as a start up.
