We are a kitchen cafe that was the idea of our founder, Meg Beever who wanted a cafe that provides delicious, freshly prepared food in a place that feels like home.We want to be the place you come to eat good fresh locally sourced food, drink great coffee, chat, relax and enjoy.Whether you've been walking, cycling, walking the dog (dog friendly area outside only but there are blankets and heaters to keep you warm), entertaining the kids or just want to work out of the office we want to be the perfect place for you to stop and enjoy some time out.Our menu selection is small but perfectly formed, a delicious selection of toast toppers made with Roger's amazing artisan bread, cooked to order and to perfection with a delicious cup of Dark Woods coffee and perhaps a cheeky slice of Miriam's cake.We don't have an oversized menu but we meet the demands of most people who like great tasting food on toast. Great for filling up with for a fuel injection or to get that warm fuzzy feeling of eating wholesome comfort food.Our breakfast toasts are made with Coddy's farm sausages and bacon, you can almost see the livestock from where you're sat, the farm is so local.We pride ourselves on going local where we can so we're providing great Yorkshire produce and doing our bit for the environment by cutting produce travel costs.We do our best at all times but if we get anything wrong, or you'd like something not listed on the menu, then just ask. We will aim to meet your needs as we want you to feel at home so please help us by letting us know if there's anything you think we can improve.
