Bloomhill Cancer Help aims to enhance the quality of life for people who are affected by cancer, through practical, spiritual and emotional support and empowerment through education and awareness. We strive to always be balanced by our profound connection with and understanding of our clients and their needs and respect the right of our clients to determine their choices for themselves. Bloomhill is a place of healing, safety and support for clients and their families/carers from the time of diagnosis and provides a focus on life and living. We offer a friendly space where you can share concerns, ask questions and receive support from our health professionals or trained volunteers. Although not everyone is cured, the potential for becoming 'whole' again is possible. We need to take care of ourselves, honour what is most precious within us and at the same time become more forgiving of our own humanity. Bloomhill's services extend to family members and carers, from the time of diagnosis, through treatment, to survival or to the final stage of grief and loss. Our programs and therapies are designed to help you cope with the physical, mental and emotional effects of having cancer. The Centre is warm and welcoming with all elements centred on creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere for all who visit. This document provides an introduction to our Client Care Services, however, should further information be required in any of these areas, please just ask your Client Care RN who will be more than happy to provide more information and details. Please note, when people are undergoing treatment for cancer they can become very sensitive to different smells and fragrances and it can make them feel very unwell. Therefore we ask you to refrain from wearing any perfume when visiting Bloomhill. We appreciate your understanding.
