Meet the Blue Anchor Coffee HouseWe are setting out to give Warrenton and the surrounding area a place to sit, conversant with family, meet friends and business associates over a good cup of coffee and tasty meal. We will offer the rushed commuter a quick hot cup of jo and breakfast sandwich on his way to the interstate, the busy mom a cappuccino while her kids grab a fresh baked muffin or yogurt parfait on the way to school. Others will be welcomed in for a relaxed, home cooked breakfast of homemade biscuits and gravy or fluffy flapjacks with homemade syrupy while they read the paper or spend time talking to friends and neighbors. As the morning goes in to the lunch hour we will offer customers a latte and healthy snack for a mid-morning pick me up or a place to meet a client and/or compose that all important presentation on their laptops while sipping an iced raspberry tea and munching a lemon blueberry scone. The lunch hour has arrived and customers will be greeted by the smell of a warm bowl of homemade tomato basil soup with a fresh kale salad or a hearty old sailor sandwich made with thin shaved corn beef and Apple cider slaw with a side of chips and dill pickle. Or maybe a piping hot bowl of meaty chili with peanut butter sandwich is more to their liking. While dining they will conduct and entertain clients and business associates, catch up with old friends or make new ones. Customers will appreciate that all sauces, syrupy and baked goods will be made in house and whenever possible produce and meat will be sourced locally. Chef Lee received his degree from the Restaurant School of Philadelphia now Walnut Hill College. He has experience working in ball parks, arenas and restaurants in the eastern half of the US as well as here in the mid-west. Working in D.C to Miami, Philadelphia to Minnesota, Louisville to Highland IL, and St. Louis to Warren Co has been an influence in Chef Lee's creative dishes. Our customers will experience comfort fo
