The first four local projects have been identified to improve the water quality for the period of 2019 – 2022:Crocodile River: combating pollutionVredefort Dome: improvement of water quality of the Vaal RiverBlesbokspruit Ramsar Site Rehabilitation Msunduzi River: improvement of water quality The effect of the projects will exceed the local results because the lessons learned can also be used elsewhere.
