We invest in start-ups that deploy information technology, AI, Big Data, and other internet-enabled education business models to boost the service level of China's immense education industry. BEC founders have been in China's non-public education business since its inception in the 90's. We run the industry's famed "Blue Elephant Camp" program that provides our founders with mentors, strategic advisors as well as other business and financing resource. Commenced in 2015, BEC has invested in over 60 companies through 3 funds: BEC I, BEC II, and BEC III, with BEC achieving 10X valuation after 2 years. By 2018, our investment portfolio has a three-year survival rate of above 95%. BEC is starting its 4th fund that will move towards growth stage companies, while actively developing BEC's education Asset Management team and Specialty FA business.
