The Blue Peace in the Middle East Initiative, is a structured and dynamic network consisting of prominent institutions from partner ountries in the region to enable water cooperation in the Middle East and create an institutional cooperation mechanism for the sustainable management of water resources. The Initiative continues to support trust building and collaboration activities in the region under relevant themes agreed by the stakeholders and contribute to enhance dialogue among countries, water institutions, decision makers and experts. The Initiative also supports countries in the region towards Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, i.e. ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030
