Blue Tiger Networks also provided infrastructure and tools to support consumer-to-consumer e-commerce.In July 2001, Blue Tiger Networks was acquired by OpenWebs Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which developed and implemented industry-specific, peer-to-peer trading communities among manufacturers, distributors and retailers. In May 2002, CarParts Technologies Inc., a provider of open, e-commerce software solutions for the automotive aftermarket, purchased OpenWebs Corp.
