The BMJ Technology Assessment Group (BMJ-TAG) is a team of health technology assessment (HTA) analysts and health economists. We conduct independent research to support National Institute for Health and Care Evidence (NICE) guidance. Our research helps NICE to assess the clinical- and cost-effectiveness of new medicines, devices and diagnostic tests for use in the NHS. The work we conduct for NICE falls within the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme.We also provide a range of health research for other institutions.
