We are a part of the international law firm bnt attorneys in CEE based in 10 Central and Eastern European countries offering legal advice in all core areas of business law. Our Prague location was one of the first bnt offices to open in Central and Eastern Europe, back in 2003. Today a growing international team of 40 professionals is active there, making Prague the largest bnt office in the region. Headed by the partners Markéta Pravdová, Pavel Pravda, Jan Šafránek and Tomáš Běhounek together with another two associated partners Lukáš Havel and Peter Maysenhölder, we provide a legal, accounting and tax advisory to the international as well as to local clients. Our clients include renowned companies from a great variety of industries, among them property developers, construction companies, investment companies and funds, financial institutions, automotive companies, companies active in the areas of aviation and shipping, energy businesses, electronics manufacturers, producers of building materials, operators of healthcare facilities and distributors of pharmaceuticals, international forwarding companies, retailers (including the luxury segment), auction houses, and others. In recent years, bnt has been successful in building a family-office practice which advises private clients in matters to do with their business or investment ventures but also with regard to family relations. The Prague office also has a history of committed pro bono work and provides active support to non-profit institutions. One of them is "Cesta domů" (The Homecoming), an organization which provides expert care to terminally ill persons and their caregivers, but also seeks to contribute to societal and legislative changes that allow for better care for dying people in the Czech Republic.The firm is regularly recognized by independent publications and rating agencies, notably by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
