The Board of Trustees is the highest governance body representing stakeholders from the government, the society, and the university itself.The Board of Trustees of Diponegoro University membership is comprised of several elements : the Minister of Education and Culture,the University Academic Senate,the Rector,the Governor of Central Java,the Society,the alumni,the University Professor,the University lecturer (Non-Professor),the University Non-Academic Administrative and Professional Employee, andthe Studentwho are all appointed or dismissed by the Minister for a 5-year term.The student lenght of term is only one year, considering that their main priority is to complete their studies, and thus replacement by younger student representative takes place annually.Duties and Obligations of the Board of Trustees :1. Establish Undip general policies (Non-Academic);2. Supervise the financial Condition of Undip;3. Legalize the Long Term Development Plan, Strategic Plan,and Budget Work Plan and evaluate its implementation;4. Provide input to the Rector for the management of Undip, and the implementation of legislation;5. Asses the performance of the Rector once a year, together with the Academic Senate;6. Appoint and Dismiss the Rector of Undip; and7. Resolve Undip issues that can't be resolved by other organizations after passing consideration of coordination meetings between organs.
