My interest in personal training began in 1988 while I was living in Ft. Worth, TX. I decided I wanted to make some changes in my life, did some research, and ultimately hired trainer Steve Bloomberg to help me reach my fitness goals. Steve motivated me to the extent that I knew fitness would always be a part of my life and encouraged me to share that motivation with others. Throughout the years I've watched the fitness industry go from "the BIG guy in the gym" being recognized as the fitness expert, to where it is today, an exact science. The fitness industry now has trainers that are formally educated in all areas of anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. A necessary improvement to teaching each individual the skills necessary for their personal sucess. I've watched gyms go from air conditionless sewat boxes to ultra high end, state of the art, health clubs and the incorporation of in home training.What I've learned is that is doesn't matter where you work out. As long as you have the desire, essential tools, and knowledge, you WILL succeed! Some of my best success stories have come from using everyday household items and unorthodox equipment. My own fitness program has me in the best shape of my life and includes many "excercises" you won't see in a gym atmosphere. Fitness has a "trickle down" effect, the better you look and feel, the better overall lifestyle you'll live. All it takes is the desire to begin and one phone call or email. Remember...
