At Body Mind Therapy, we offer a range of highly effective specialist therapies designed to help you achieve optimal health. The emphasis of our treatments is the link between the body and mind and their combined importance in wellness.All our therapies are carried out remotely, removing the stress and commitment that face-to-face consultations bring.Heading up the team is Julie Langton-Smith, practitioner, educator and specialist of healthcare and natural medicine.In the early 1990's, Julie set up her own practice where she specialised in muscle problems, the emphasis being sports and physical injuries particularly identifying the source of pain and inflammation in and around joints. She then qualified in Nutrition and Diet, Kinesiology, Hyperton-X, (module specialising in enhancing performance), Bio-Magnetic medicine, Radiothesia and Bioresonance, including Homeopathy, Acupuncture and Microbiology, Clinical Hypnotherapy and EFT, (emotional freedom technique).With a passion for the psychology of spirituality and its impact on bodymind health, Julie went on to further studies and gained an MSc in Transpersonal Psychology. This style of psychology concentrates on ‘mindfulness, meditation, a spiritual and philosophical approach to the way we feel, live and interact in the world. She has focussed her skills and experience into a range of mind therapies including the beautiful Sleep Talk Lullaby, featuring pop/soul singer Des'ree.
