The Bombay Toastmasters Club is the meeting of minds on the common agenda – Improving communication skills. It is this idea that has brought together various professionals from Mumbai. The members of The Bombay Toastmasters Club bring a lot of diversity in the group. Diversity in terms of background, capabilities, experience and so on. While some of us are trainers who are in the business for many years, we also have students who want to improve their skills before they jump into the corporate world. We have people from the HR, IT, Finance and other sectors. While we have some employees of large corporations, we also have self employed and freelancers. This diversity lends a great balance to our club sessions. There is energy and there is maturity. There is drive and there is guidance. There is enthusiasm and there is stability. While we work towards becoming better speakers by picking up the good things from our fellow members and avoiding the mistakes that we have been making ourselves, we not only improve our selves as speakers, but we get plenty of bonuses. The sessions are very informative due to the knowledge that is shared from different areas. There is tremendous networking opportunity, as we meet with new members and guests. As we keep improving as a club, it is our goal to be the best Toastmasters Club in India. The Bombay Toastmasters Club meets twice a month - 2nd and 4th Saturday at Grooming Dales, 1st Floor Delta Apartments, Above Zorastrian Bank, MMC Road, Mahim West, Mumbai 400016.
