Founded in 2004, Bomboémia - Percussion Group of the University of Minho are recognized for their energetic and contagious movements and sounds. They seek to energize percussion, putting the youth and energy of Latin cultures side by side with the improved rhythms of the old continent.They are the organizers of an imposing and important festival in Braga, Do Bira ao Samba. It is a festival that unites, merges and celebrates Portuguese and Brazilian traditions and cultures and that, for two days, fills the historic center with color, joy and animation.Bomboémia tour Portugal from North to South, in various events, such as meetings and Carnival parades. They also take their energy across borders, organizing tours to Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Ireland, Tunisia.
