The Bon Sea is a spacious, air-conditioned semi-submarine that will partially submerge itself in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean to provide breathtaking views of some of the most diverse marine life that you'll find anywhere in the world. Founded and operating in Bonaire, and expanding in the rest of the Caribbean. After booking the 45 minute tour, the Semi-Submarine departs from the water taxi pier at Karel's beach bar Bonaire. From there, the captain will take you to a protected area close to the island Klein Bonaire where the semi-submarine's high visibility windows will give a picture-perfect view of Bonaire's abundant marine life. From tropical fish and majestic sea turtles to the occasional manta ray, all can be seen from the comfort of a 12-seater air-conditioned submarine without ever having to immerse yourself in the water.Bon Sea cares about the environment. The latest most environmentally friendly engine on the market is used by our Semi-Submarine. Bon Sea will not anchor anywhere to prevent damage in the beautiful Caribbean ocean. Also, eating and drinking is not allowed on board to prevent pollution in the ocean. The semi-submarine (red u-boat) is build according to the European Regulations of Shipping and follows all safety requirements registered by the European Maritime Safety Agency.
