BSCO is a parent/teacher organization dedicated to enriching the education of students at Bonny Slope Elementary School, in Portland, Oregon. Any parent or guardian of a child at Bonny Slope is automatically a member of the BSCO. With the goal of enhancing the educational experience of Bonny Slope students, the BSCO coordinates volunteer efforts, community events, educational enhancement and fundraising.BSCO was founded by parents as a non-profit organization when Bonny Slope Elementary opened in 2008. The BSCO has raised funds and organized volunteers to support many of the extras that enhance our school. Bonny Slope Elementary is an authorized International Baccalaureate ("IB") World School in Portland, Oregon offering the Primary Years Programme. Bonny Slope Elementary is dedicated to excellence by empowering our students with skills and attitudes to be lifelong learners, global thinkers who are culturally sensitive, and to take action and create a better, more peaceful world.
