Owned by entrepreneur Martin Boniface, who also owns Bonlec ( air conditioning, BMS controls, and switchboards ). Bontech specializes in remote area power, solar pumps and remote monitoring. Bontech now handles both the #solar pumping systems and remote area power systems, and also has a branch at Hughenden. Bontech has a small but dedicated Research and Development team who specialise in alternate technologies and are solution focused. Bonlec now has a staff of 55, with branches in Townsville, Cairns and Mackay. BonTech employs another five and currently has three (3) patented designs. #Bontech current Patents include both the Agmon range of monitoring equipment, which incorporates the use of #monitored solar telemetry systems including our unique #AgmonOutstation and #AgmonCattleTrap and also Spilla™ which uses the inertia of moving water to lift water from great depths via two harvest pipes and a simple diversion mechanism (patented).
