Books Abound partners with under-resourced schools in developing countries to build libraries and provide educational materials to help promote literacy and sustainable educational opportunities. We are founded on the principle that everyone deserves quality education. We believe that books and literacy are some of the greatest tools our world can use for opening opportunities for individuals, bringing communities together and helping solve social issues. Developing countries are in need of more resources for vocational training, empowering educational materials, and strategies for eliminating poverty. Books Abound strives to help bridge the gap between lack of resources and opportunities for higher quality of life. We strive to foster a love for reading and the worlds that it can open. Each of our libraries are opened in partnership with communities, so that they can become self-sustaining and long-lasting local organizations.
