Books That Grow is an adaptive reading platform featuring digital books that can adjust to multiple reading levels based on a student's individual needs. Each book presents stronger readers with advanced vocabulary and syntax, while weaker readers read a simplified version of the same text. With Books That Grow, teachers can assign a single book to a classroom of varied abilities and challenge each student at their level. Books That Grow provides readers with unlimited access to a library of fiction and non-fiction text, as well as primary source documents. Our library is Common Core-aligned and includes texts for younger students, adult education, ESOL and specific content instruction. Teachers can monitor an individual student's progress, assign remedial reading and set reading levels for an entire class or for individual students. Books That Grow has been featured in Publisher's Weekly, MSNBC.com, EdSurge, CNN.com, and Larry Ferlazzo's blog. We won a Verizon Powerful Answers Award and the National School Boards Association's Innovation Showcase in 2014 and the Tools of Change for Publishing People's Choice Award in 2013.
