Hospital & Health Care - Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
There are only a handful of Aboriginal owned and managed NDIS service providers across Australia. As a result, for most Aboriginal people, the only way to acquire NDIS services is to seek non-Aboriginal service providers that may not be culturally appropriate. We aim to deliver quality, genuine, and transparent services to Aboriginal communities, and other people living with disabilities. Bookyana strives to ensure that we deliver culturally appropriate services to all participants under the Aboriginal NDIS, Department of Child Protection (DCP), and Exceptional Needs Unit (ENU).Our strategy of staffing employs Aboriginal men and women in core positions, ensuring that our Aboriginal participants receive the greatest possible cultural standard. Our people come from different walks of life and diverse backgrounds. We value an environment that is inclusive, safe, and respectful to all employees and participants.
