2016 marked 100 years since the Darveniza family settled in the Cassowary Coast area and established farms. Hayden, Craig and their families have been working together to help establish the commercial papaw industry in Australia. The surrounding world heritage rainforest, and the coastal mountains help produce quality fruit throughout all seasons of the year.The superior tropical conditions on the farm and their expertise has allowed the family to become a dominant force in the Australian papaw market in the last 30 years which has grown to become a million carton a year industry. The time spent within the papaw industry has given us the opportunity to grow with the market, giving us better access to the most cutting edge technology and research done within the industry and applying it to our practice.
