In Borghi 1819 we love details, because they make a difference. Our history is our heritage, to be shared with people who believe fabrics are a form of art. Our mission is the quest for beauty and perfection: from fiber to fabric, from colors to the design.Located in the old workers' village of Varano Borghi in the province of Varese, the company, founded in the early 1800s under the name of Cotonificio Borghi, was purchased by the TBM Group in 1985.The transformation of cotton into yarn and afterwards into fabric takes place in Italy with highly technological industrial processes. The industrial cycle takes place entirely in the factories of the TBM group to which the brand belongs, starting from spinning (in Buccino, Salerno), then moving on to the warping and weaving phases (in Ginosa, Taranto and Besnate, Varese), and completing itself in the dyeing and finishing (in Varano Borghi, Varese). The choice to keep all production in Italy is the result of a precise vision that aims at defending the quality and uniqueness of the product. The design and development of our fabrics are based on maximum customization and flexibility to follow the particular requests of customers, studying exclusively constructions, stripes, jacquard designs, bounded fabrics and special treatments.Borghi 1819 is at the forefront in terms of research and quality of raw materials. Intended for the luxury market, it offers a range of top quality shirt and clothing fabrics.Borghi 1819 fabrics are present in the collections of the best luxury brands around the world. From the great names of Made in Italy, to the stylists of New York, from the Parisian fashion houses, to the emerging London and Far East, up to the most qualified names in prêt-à-porter.Interpreted at best by our customers, Borghi 1819 fabrics are transformed into very fine shirts, refined dresses and luxury garments where the fabric is the protagonist.Borghi 1819 is Italian tradition with a global vision.
