Borneo Soap is located in the city of Kuching in the state of Sarawak, on the Malaysian part of the island of Borneo. Sarawak is the largest of Malaysia's thirteen states and is unique in still having 27 different ethnic groups; each with very distinct cultures, traditions and languages. The state of Sarawak also has an abundance of natural resources including the oldest rainforest in the world, and the world's richest ecosystem which we are passionate about. All of this combined with a desire to help promote Sarawak to the rest of the world that led us to develop Borneo Soap. Our luxury products are handmade using the traditional ingredients that the indigenous peoples of the rainforests use. The soaps in the collection have been devised so that no matter what your skin type you will be able to find one that will suit your skin. Made from natural ingredients each bar is packed full of amazing elements that will moisturise and heal your skin. We work hard to put the traditions and cultures of Sarawak into our soap. The ingredients we use are all harvested from the rainforests and we could not do this without working very closely with the local tribes. We have developed a commercial relationship with the local communities and tribes, by doing this we are also enabling the indigenous peoples to maintain their traditional way of life. As a brand we truly believe in natural beauty and want to share the amazing traditions and ingredients of Sarawak with the rest of the world.
