The Borough Cup is the vision of New York Mets' Hall of Famer John Franco, WFAN's Craig Carton, and Brooklyn Cyclones Assistant GM Gary Perone as a way to increase awareness and play in New York City by giving the kids something to play for. The tournament is sponsored by Major League Baseball, Yankees, Mets, MLB Players Association.
