The Boston 13s RLFC, Inc. (also known as simply the Boston 13s, Boston Thirteens or the B13s) are a semi-professional rugby league football club located in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. The team plays in the USA Rugby League (USARL) National Championship. The 13s, are not the first incarnation of a Boston-based RLFC; but are the most successful and long-standing of any Boston-based team. In 2006, the Boston Braves RLFC played only two exhibition matches but were subsequently not admitted to the league in the 2007 season. It would be only two years later, in 2009, that a Boston team would join the AMNRL under the leadership, management and direction of Mikhael N. Shammas. That team became the Boston 13s RLFC. 2012 saw the team's founder, Mikhael Shammas, depart back to his fatherland, Lebanon, and the club's leadership & coaching was taken up by Robin Peers; who guided them to become the 2013 USARL National Champions.
