Boston Rookies, Inc. is a sports-based youth development organization dedicated to providing athletic programming to elementary-aged student-athletes. Boston Rookies was founded to address the opportunity and achievement gaps for children impacted by racial, social, and economic injustices by promoting youth participation in organized sports, physical activity, and fitness. Our mission is to promote leadership, identity, academic and social development, and health through youth sports and fitness. Through the power of play, children build a foundation for lifelong health, strengthen their sense of self, and develop a love for sport. We envision a just society with equitable opportunities afforded to all children - where access to the resources necessary to reach one's full potential is not limited by race or socioeconomic status.
