Botty is a friendly bot, that supports and guides children under duress to find the appropriate available help instance. Our team was chosen as the winner at the German wide Hackathon #Wirfürschule in the social justice area. Botti combines chatbot technology with insights from psychology to offer an easy accesible help instance to children in stress situations. Children can access Botti anytime anonymously, learn about locally available support instances for their particular needs and get the contact data, leaving them the decision of whether and when to reach out. All the while the bot encourages them to seek help and trust their instincts and feelings.
