Bottinelli Informatica S.r.l. was born in Como in 1984 from the vision of Piera Sonzogni and Alberto Bottinelli who, after studying applied mathematics, begin themselves to developing software on the first electronic computers. Since the beginnig the choices taken proved to be brave and avant-garde, as much as when, in the early 1990s, the company decided to dismiss the Cobol world and the video-terminal user interface to marry Microsoft Windows, pioneer of visual interfaces and first object-oriented programming tools.
