Boum&Colophon is a listed private equity company. We initiate closed-end private equity funds – B&C funds – which enable institutional investors to invest in the equity or equity-like instruments of unlisted companies. B&C advises or manages these funds. That means B&C identifies, analyses and structures investment opportunities. We negotiate investment agreements, support the portfolio companies during the time of our investment and shape the disinvestment process. Employing our proprietary capital, we co-invest alongside these B&C funds. A share in B&C thereby creates access to a portfolio of unlisted companies and, at the same time, to a successful fund investment services business. Our focus is on mid - cap companies. These mid-market businesses are the backbone of the economy. We feel committed to them. Their business models and markets have been the focus of our work for decades. Our special focus, moreover, is on companies operating in industrial sectors that are particularly strong on an international comparison. (Equity) capital from the B&C funds , experience and expertise support the portfolio companies in implementing their sustainable, value-creating strategies. Our hands-on investment approach has made us a sought-after investment partner. Since Boum & Colophon was established , we have provided equity capital to more than 5 companies together with the B&C funds. Currently, B&C holds more than 3 portfolio companies.
