We help individuals, families, organizations and systems bounce back from the negative effects of toxic stress and trauma by building and sharing our practical tools for resilience. Toxic stress and trauma affect learning, job performance, and work satisfaction. Most importantly, they hinder children in vulnerable populations from realizing their fullest potential. In response, BBG brings an action- and results-oriented approach to bring our social, emotional, and triggered selves to a place where we feel confident in our abilities to manage today's stressors. We work with educators, parents and childcare professionals to bring resilience practices to schools, and with our corporate partner, Opportu, to strengthen resilience in workplaces. We focus our resilience-building on adults so we can be the village that surrounds the child to teach, model and provide the Building Blocks for Resilience. We strive to provide the tools for each of us to be a Resilience-Builder for a Bounce Back Generation.
