Bowie Building Blocks is a licensed daycare in Bowie, MD.My goal is to create a nurturing environment where the children can learn and have fun at the same time. I provide children with developmentally appropriate learning activities. The children have both the chance to play house, build with blocks, do puzzles, and the chance to learn. We cover all of the basic Pre-K curriculum, such as colors, numbers, letters, and calendar elements. We also spend some time cooking and baking, which are great overall learning experiences for the kids.Finally, I encourage independence among the preschoolers. They are in charge of putting away their shoes and jackets upon arrival and they clean up after themselves. Preschool is an important time to get kids ready for the advanced academic environment that is now presented in elementary schools.
