Box-haus LSS is an innovative fast-track light steel (light gauge) self-supporting structural construction system to suit applications such as hotels, hospitals, student & key worker accommodation, housing and residential. The system incorporates all of the main structural members of the dwelling in light steel (walls, floors & roof trusses/cassettes) the external cladding can be constructed in a variety of materials from brickwork to rainsceen systems, insulated render to curtain walling . It's light but robust with typically wall capacities of 50KN/m readily achieved. The system also performs well thermally with U values of less than 0.2 W/m2 K.
