Passion for nature, that is the motivation behind Boxhoorn Ecology. After being involved in various projects by, among others, the Werkgroep Zeearend Nederland, the Edelhert Association and international contacts, the decision was made to start my own office, besides my job by Staatsbosbeheer. This way, I can get involved in research projects.The expertise is broad: from mammals that occur in Europe to birds and insects. The base is clear: Research is knowledge, knowledge is necessary for the right developments. Hence the motivation to conduct broad research, so that a lot of knowledge can be gathered. Thanks to a broad network, there is also the ambition to conduct international research. For example, there has already been a project in Croatia, where research has been done in Plitvice National Park, into the occurrence, distribution and way of life of Wolf and Lynx in the area.
