Braemar College is a regional, independent, coeducational school located in the Macedon Ranges. The school is set upon two distinct campuses; the Senior School (Year 10-12) campus which is based on the original and historic College grounds on Mount Macedon, and the Middle School (Year 5-8) campus, which is located east of Woodend on a brand new space built with innovation in education at the forefront of the design. At Braemar College, we strive to achieve optimal student engagement and instil a motivation to learn among our young people, enabling them to realise their potential. Our contemporary learning and teaching practices foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. We pride ourselves on having a school culture that celebrates achievement across all areas of school life, as well as academic endeavour. We seek to nurture the whole student through wellbeing programs that promote positive relationships, support individual differences, and ensure students have the best possible opportunities to develop in mind, body, and spirit. We encourage participation in a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sports and the arts. Braemar College values strong community connections. Through various service opportunities and cultural immersion trips, we encourage young people to be active contributors to their community, both locally and globally. These opportunities allow students to foster a sense of community, compassion, mutual respect, and integrity. Our strategic vision is to become an ELC to Year 12 school, supporting students throughout their entire school journey. Future plans and development across both campuses support this vision.
