Breakforth is a non-profit support organisation headquartered in Ireland. The organisation works to alleviate poverty and foster sustainable development by empowering women and girls, using a holistic approach. To effectively meet the needs of the women we serve, we work in collaboration with our local partners. Our key strategies for achieving our goals are programmes and project based. Women and girls are at the center of our community based efforts to create community re-engagement and transformation, expand economic opportunity, improve basic education and healthcare. We focus specially on working alongside with women and girls, because we strongly believe that when women are equipped with adequate resources, they have the power to help their whole families and entire communities escape poverty and poor health which in turn leads to sustainable development. Breakforth's work is driven by a vision of a just world where every woman and girl experience freedom and are empowered to break forth to positively impact society. Breakforth's Focus Areas: 1.
