Brevillier Village is the winner of the Erie Times-News Erie's Choice Award for Best Retirement Facility. Over 111,000 votes were cast in August, 2017 with Brevillier Village coming out on top. Brevillier Village is a multi-phase retirement community sponsored by the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul in Erie, Pennsylvania, a church of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern PA and is dedicated to serving the continuing needs of older adults.The Village is located on a 20+ acres of lakefront property known as the Brevillier Estate. Located five miles east of downtown Erie, it is bounded on the north by Lake Erie and on the south by East Lake Road.The history of Brevillier Village has been shaped by four major influences: The Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul, the Episcopal Brothers of St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia, the Brevillier Family, and the Ball Family.The facilities of Brevillier Village include Ball Pavilion, an 85-bed skilled nursing facility, Conrad House, an 8-story independent living highrise apartment building, Barnabas Court North a 35-bed secured dementia unit, Barnabas Court South Personal Care independent apartments, and the St. Barnabas Chapel and Education Center.
