MISSION:To co-create, strengthen and support sustainable programs that inspire, assist and equip the people of Bardia in Western Nepal to: - improve access to and delivery of high-quality education and health services,- improve livelihoods, reduce economic hardship, discrimination and exploitation, - grow safe, independent, healthy, and thriving individuals and communities,- foster leadership, realize and expand human potential. WHY WE DO WHAT WE DOWe believe that a prosperous country needs an accessible and quality education system without socio-economic, gender or case discrimination. Our strategy gives particular attention to the objective of a future free from poverty through the provision of facilities and programs for education and vocational training. The India-Nepal border is less than 70km from Bardia and is one of the busiesthuman trafficking gateways in the world. Currently, students of BBAS Memorial School in Bardia can only access education up to Year 10 which means they leave formal education at a young age making them more susceptible to early marriage, child labour, forced labour and trafficking. Our programs are developed collaboratively with the community of Bardia to focus on specifically addressing these and the many other challenges Western Nepal communities face.At the heart of what we do is respect for the people of Bardia and absolutely belief they deserve and can achieve a confident, self-governed future of sustainable growth and development. DONATE TODAYContributing to something far greater than ourselves sends a powerful message to the Universe. https://safeclassroomsbardia.raisely.com
