Brighter Dawns is a non-profit organization committed to treating and preventing existing health issues in the slums of Bangladesh while improving overall living conditions. Our current project addresses the water and sanitation crisis in Ward 12, one of the largest slums in Khalishpur, Khulna. We build wells, latrines and women's bathing spaces, and supplement these resources with educational health seminars for women and children to help them build hygiene habits that will reduce exposure to waterborne diseases.
