Bristol University began in 1991 as Kensington College, focused on Paralegal training. The university is Orange County's longest running school dedicated to legal-support staff training. Bristol University has trained students for legal-support positions (Paralegal, Paralegal Assistant and Legal Administrative Assistant) in law offices throughout Orange County and the greater Los Angeles area for the past twenty-three years.After Kensington College received accreditation approval from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), the largest national accrediting organization for degree granting institutions, to offer business degrees, the name was changed in 2011 to Bristol University to recognize the expanded focus.Currently, Bristol University offers Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Academic degree programs as well as professional programs leading to a certificate in Legal or Hospitality studies. The methodology of study is flexible, featuring 100% on-line study, a combination of on-line and on-site class study, or 100% on-site class study. Bristol University's goal is to maintain a class size of about 20 students for maximum student-teacher and student-student contact and discussion.
