Britain Unites is a nationwide initiative brought together by the tourism industry to thank NHS staff for their commitment to keeping the nation safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. Following years of funding cuts and several months fighting against a global pandemic, we believe it's time for our healthcare system to receive the credit it deserves.The group of UK travel industry professionals, operating under the name Britain Unites, are offering NHS staff free and discounted tickets to a wide variety of attractions, venues, restaurants and bars, ready for when the industry reopens and healthcare workers are able to enjoy some well-earned fun and relaxation time. The group has launched an online directory featuring all venues who are taking part. NHS staff will then have a comprehensive guide to all industry offers, collated in one place, including how they can redeem. "The pandemic brought tourism to a standstill causing massive job and revenue losses; at the same time our heroic NHS have been on the frontline risking their lives for us.
